Specialist in Data Engineering - Hybrid Role

Join the AER as a Data Engineering Specialist in a hybrid role based in Calgary or Edmonton. Focus on developing data pipelines that drive operational insights using cloud technologies. This full-time position requires hands-on experience in data engineering along with participation in agile delivery methods.

Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders to translate data requirements into actionable technical solutions, enhancing the overall data strategy. Your engineering expertise will enable quality data analytics and reporting for various projects within the organization. Key Responsibilities:

• Create and sustain data solutions via Azure cloud
• Work with architects to align data with governance standards
• Ensure workflow reliability and performance optimization
• Take part in reviews, documentations, and retrospectives
• Support continuous improvement within data engineering team Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years in data integration and ETL
• Proficient in Azure Data services and SQL
• Experience in agile teams and CI/CD practices
