Lead patient flow management at the University of Alberta Hospital. This part-time Site Manager position combines oversight of bed placement with operational leadership during evenings and weekends.As a Site Manager, you will report to the Program Manager for Site Operations, providing essential support to ensure optimal resource utilization. With a focus on patient flow, you will collaborate with unit managers and frontline staff to address issues promptly and effectively.

This role requires adept organizational and decision-making skills to maintain high-quality patient care throughout the facility.Key Responsibilities:

• Support patient placement and flow throughout the hospital • Oversee coordination of bed allocation and movement guidelines • Serve as primary on-site leader during off-hours • Address incidents and facilitate problem-solving with units • Escalate patient care concerns as necessaryRequirements:
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BN or BScN) • Active registration or eligibility with CRNA • Minimum 5 years nursing experience in acute care • At least 3 years of leadership experience • Excellent communication and organizational skillsYour leadership and nursing expertise will be vital to ensuring high-quality patient care and effective operations at the University of Alberta Hospital.
