This training program focuses on developing your skills, competence, and confidence as you transition into your nursing role.

As a Registered Nurse, you will engage in various patient care activities while being supported by experienced peers. Over two flexible phases, you will enjoy supervised orientation before progressing to independent practice, ensuring a smooth adjustment to your nursing career. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clinical guides for personalized learning
  • Advocate for patients and families effectively
  • Apply critical thinking in nursing processes
  • Support health promotion and maintenance efforts Requirements:
  • Accredited nursing education program completion
  • Eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Graduate within 12 months of application
