In-House Legal Counsel in Alberta

With a focus on delivering independent, solutions-oriented advice, you will manage complex cases and assess legal risks while communicating effectively with teams and senior leaders. Your contributions will promote transparency and facilitate organizational governance. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive legal support on corporate and health law
• Manage complex legal files and communicate guidance
• Draft and negotiate contracts and procurement documents
• Advise on compliance with relevant health legislation
• Assist the ALA Board Office with governance and policy development Requirements:
• Law Degree (JD) from a recognized Canadian university
• Licensed to practice law in Alberta
• Minimum 4 years of legal practice experience
• Background in corporate governance and contracting
