As a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP), your role involves assessing emergency scenes and transporting ill or injured patients.

You will provide essential care by administering minor medications and conducting semi-automated defibrillation. Your leadership during patient transport and at emergency sites will be crucial for clinical support. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient condition and emergency scene situation
  • Operate ambulances and other transport modes
  • Administer BLS airway adjuncts and medications
  • Ensure vehicles are stocked and equipped properly
  • Lead BLS crew to deliver patient care Requirements:
  • Non-restricted registration with Alberta College of Paramedics
  • Current BLS CPR certification
  • Valid class 4 Alberta Operator License
  • Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation completion
  • Experience in EMS preferred Utilize your emergency care skills and work in a physically demanding setting as a Primary Care Paramedic with Alberta Health Services.
