The Society is led by a Board of Directors with representatives from across Alberta and works with the Government of Alberta (GOA)’s Ministry of Culture and Status of Women to operate these legacy performing arts venues through front‑of‑house, back‑of‑house, marketing and community engagement services. As an Arts Education Facilitator, you will play a pivotal role in implementing the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium’s Jube School Programming, both online and in person. Reporting to the Arts and Community Engagement Coordinator, you will lead students and educators through diverse programming that explores the performing, visual and technical arts to foster joyful learning and meet curricular outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the facilitation of Jube School programming, including 5‑Day, 1 & 2‑Day field trips/workshops, community events and outreach projects, guiding participants through an inquiry‑based creative process. Deliver creative workshops that showcase your artistic expertise and teaching practice. Facilitate sessions with energy and engagement, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Welcome guest teaching instructors and community partners to the classroom and actively participate in sessions. Maintain clean, organized classrooms and workspaces, ensuring daily readiness and well‑stocked storage areas. Attend meetings to review progress, address challenges, implement new processes and celebrate successes.

Contribute to the positive culture of the Jubilees’ team within the facility and in the broader community. Actively promote Jube School and other programming opportunities at local Teachers’ Conventions and other community events. Cultivate a sense of joy and meaning in the learning experience, fostering a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Performance (Acting, Music or Dance), Education, Arts Administration or related field (or equivalent experience). Previous experience in arts education, workshop facilitation, or related fields. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Excellent communication, public speaking and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Passion for the arts and working with youth, teachers and the community. Flexibility to adapt to changing program needs and delivery formats.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in online platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Must be willing to obtain a recent vulnerable sector check.
