Director of Business Development in Alberta

Establish strategic partnerships and drive business growth as the Regional Director at Futurpreneur, focusing on Alberta’s entrepreneurial ecosystem in a hybrid setting. Engage with young talents and mentors directly. This full-time role based in either Edmonton or Calgary requires a strong leader to report to the Vice President of Business Development.

You will define and implement regional strategies, motivate your team, and coordinate with key stakeholders to enhance the Futurpreneur brand and impact. Participation in the Futurpreneur Leadership Team will ensure alignment with national objectives and community network expansion. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the annual business plan targeting three main client groups
• Coach and develop the business development team for success
• Identify and cultivate relationships with strategic partners
• Ensure seamless service delivery across entrepreneur programs
• Lead marketing strategies reflective of local market needs Requirements:
• 5-7 years' experience in business development or sales
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
• Familiarity with Alberta's entrepreneurial landscape
• Valid driver’s license required for travel
