Policy Analyst for Rural Utilities in Alberta

By collaborating with internal partners and external stakeholders, you will prepare key documentation that aids decision-making processes and ensures compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct policy analysis and development for rural utilities
- Represent the Rural Utilities Section in cross-ministry initiatives
- Create presentations and briefing notes for senior leadership
- Oversee governance compliance for rural utility associations
- Manage rural utility grants and financial collections
Requirements
- Degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related area
- Four years of experience in policy roles
- Skills in report writing and policy analysis
- Knowledge of utility regulations and governance
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement
