Elevate your underwriting expertise with Peace Hills General Insurance as a Personal Lines Underwriter in Southern Alberta. This full-time role involves risk assessment, policy processing, and broker collaboration. In this permanent role, you will report to the Personal Lines Underwriting Manager.

You’ll use your five-plus years of underwriting experience to evaluate new business quote requests and renewals, ensuring a profitable portfolio. Providing insights to brokers and addressing inquiries will be key, along with visiting their offices to enhance relationships. Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and analyze quote requests for risk acceptability
• Process renewals, endorsements, and cancellations efficiently
• Review broker production reports regularly
• Provide underwriting advice and assist with broker inquiries
• Liaise with claims and accounting departments when necessary Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in underwriting
• Knowledge of auto and property contracts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
