You will engage in immunization programs, conduct home and clinic visits, and support maternal health initiatives. Strong decision-making and communication skills are crucial as you work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide vaccinations in various clinic settings • Conduct health education and preventive management • Support mothers during prenatal and postnatal periods • Perform follow-ups on communicable diseases • Advocate for patient needs and health initiativesRequirements:
- Accreditation in nursing education program required • Active registration with College of Registered Nurses of Alberta • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification needed • Experience in public health nursing preferred • Ability to lift patients and perform chest compressionsEmpower community health while gaining valuable experience in public health nursing with Primary Care Alberta.
