Speech-Language Pathologist in Alberta
RGIT AustraliaProvide vital speech and language therapy services as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Edmonton, Alberta. This contractual role is dedicated to enhancing client communication and well-being within the community. As part of our health and safety team, you will assess clients’ speech and language capabilities, develop personalized therapy plans, and conduct direct therapy sessions.
Training of caregivers and documenting your progress are integral, ensuring that communication strategies are effective and tailored to each individual. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess speech and language abilities of clients
- Create individualized therapy and communication plans
- Provide therapy sessions to improve client outcomes
- Educate caregivers and staff on communication methodologies
- Maintain documentation and reporting of client progress Requirements:
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent necessary
- Active registration with Alberta’s regulatory body
- Previous experience in autism and developmental disabilities is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
