Contract Plant Operator in Alberta

Strathcona Resources Ltd. seeks an experienced Contract Plant Operator for its Lindbergh SAGD facility in Alberta. This role emphasizes safety and compliance while boosting plant productivity. As a Contract Plant Operator, you will report to the Shift Engineer and utilize your expertise in safety procedures and plant operations.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, providing problem-solving solutions, and revising operational procedures. This position requires a strong commitment to leadership during emergency situations and continuous improvement of plant operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure strict adherence to HSER policies
• Troubleshoot and resolve plant operational issues
• Review and refine Operations Procedures
• Report deficiencies and maintain logbooks
• Lead during emergency and maintenance situations Requirements:
• Third-Class ABSA Power Engineering Certificate (Second Class preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in Oil and Gas, specifically SAGD
• Strong understanding of steam generation processes
• Proven leadership and communication skills
