Part Time Seniors Fitness Specialist - Calgary Alberta

- *Seniors Fitness Instructor Specialist-Part Time**
This position will have permanent part time hours at one of our client sites in Calgary Alberta. This position is twice per week from 9am-1pm (some variability of hours may be available) There are a couple of options for days to work, either a Monday/Friday or Monday/Tuesday or a Thursday/Friday . Location 120 Na'a Crescent SW, Calgary, AB T3H 6J1
- *Duties
- *Fitness Facility Management:
· Supervise daily activities and administration of on-site Fitness Facility including:
· Keep an equipment maintenance log Ensure that all equipment is handled in a responsible manner at all times
· Ensure regular updates of incident reports and ensure that copies are sent to the client appointed representative
· Inspect all equipment regularly to ensure it is in safe, workable condition.
· Provide reports on all required maintenance
· Ensure the facility and amenities are clean and safe.
· Ensure all members complete questionnaire and waiver(s) before using the gym
· Provide cutting-edge group exercise and fitness instruction with an emphasis on Seniors, education and personal training as required.
· Develop and manage a well-run and purposeful health and fitness training program.
· This will include leading a minimum of 2 (45-50min) group exercise classes per day.
· Must also able to assess and develop program based on individual profiles (emphasis on seniors) with different ranges of goals and objectives.
· Provide courteous guest services (knowledgeable and helpful)
· Interact and communicate with Fitness Facility members in a way that will support all aspects of health and fitness

- teaching classes & Training: 3 years (preferred)
