Client Relationship Manager, Small Business (Must be based in Alberta)

• *Client Relationship Manager**

. This is a full-time, remote, permanent position. You can be based anywhere in Alberta and must be able to support clients in Edmonton, Calgary and Red Deer.

As a Relationship Manager, you will be reporting to the CEO and will be responsible for managing key relationships with the clients and financial institutions across Canada. You are responsible for managing and retaining an assigned block of business and should have a proven track record in managing small business transactions ranging from $500k to $5M.

• *Responsibilities:
• Manage and retain an assigned block of business in relation to plan design, cost containment initiatives and renewals
• Anticipate & recommend solutions and make decisions based on the needs of the client
• Gather and utilize client data to assist in identifying client-focused opportunities
• Educate and recommend products and services to enhance the total benefit solution
• Manage risk and exercise due diligence in all banking procedures and develop appropriate action plans in response to concerns/risks
• Proactively contact clients, gather insights through client discovery, understand their needs and changing circumstances and ongoing satisfaction
• *Qualifications:
• Must have 3 years of experience in small business banking
• Solid understanding of the small business market, products and services, applicable risk management policies
• Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for sales and business development
• Excellent understanding of financial statements and business analysis
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
