You will work closely with administrators including Deans and Directors, providing invaluable expertise in collective agreements and faculty evaluations. Your proactive approach will help identify trends in labor relations while ensuring compliance with university policies. Engage in negotiations to influence faculty relations and mitigate disputes effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide training on collective agreements to university leaders
  • Research and recommend policy changes and updates
  • Serve as case manager for formal faculty complaints
  • Offer strategic advice on settlement options and disputes
  • Draft and review grievance responses for approval

Requirements

  • Degree in HR, business, or law with labour relations focus
  • At least 8 years of HR experience; 5+ in labour relations
  • Collaborative skills to build productive relationships
  • Ability to handle confidential information tactfully
  • Exceptional written communication and analysis skills
