Role Description This is a part-time Website Administrator role based in Calgary, AB with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home along with on-site responsibilities. The Website Administrator will manage day-to-day website operations, including updating product listings, maintaining content accuracy, and ensuring consistent branding across pages. The role involves monitoring website performance, resolving basic technical issues, coordinating with internal teams for promotions, and implementing minor design or layout changes to improve user experience. The Website Administrator will also assist with e-commerce configuration, such as pricing updates, inventory status, and checkout flow, while reviewing web analytics to identify areas for optimization. Regular tasks include testing site functionality across devices, documenting changes, and supporting small web-related projects to keep the site secure, current, and user-friendly.
Qualifications
- Strong web design and user experience skills, with the ability to maintain visually consistent and accessible website layouts.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify platform and workflow, including product catalog management, pricing, and order processing.
- Social media platforms including FB, Instagram etc.
- Project management abilities to coordinate website changes, track tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools to monitor traffic, conversions, and user behavior, and to recommend data-informed improvements.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple updates in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative work style suitable for hybrid teams.
- Experience with content management systems and e-commerce tools; prior retail or online commerce experience is an asset.
