WSP is seeking a Hydraulic Structures Engineer for its Prairies & North team. As a pivotal contributor, you will leverage structural engineering fundamentals in project planning, and analysis, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. This position emphasizes your exposure to hydraulic structures, supporting practical and resilient water projects tailored to the Prairies.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply structural fundamentals to water infrastructure projects
• Perform structural steel and reinforced concrete calculations
• Analyze and design hydraulic structures, including spillways
• Evaluate various loads relevant to infrastructure
• Collaborate on technical reports with multidisciplinary teams

Requirements

• Strong foundational knowledge in structural engineering
• Familiarity with geotechnical reports for design
• Skills in engineering software like AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel
• Registered P.Eng. with APEGA preferred
• Understanding of water loading conditions is an asset
