Employer matched RRSP Flexible work enviroment Regional Manager - Alberta Overview The Regional Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the delivery of Work It Forward services and plays a key leadership role in the implementation and regional rollout of Alberta Employment Connect. This role is accountable for both stabilizing and optimizing existing service delivery while leading the successful setup, launch, and scaling of Alberta Employment Connect across the region.

Through the leadership of Service Delivery Managers, the Regional Manager ensures consistent, high-quality, and client-centered services aligned with contractual requirements and organizational standards. As a key liaison between operations and stakeholders—including funders, referral partners, employers, and community organizations—the Regional Manager strengthens partnerships, supports coordinated service delivery, and advances inclusive employment outcomes for individuals facing barriers to employment.

The Regional

Manager drives performance, fosters a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and ensures that client voice and lived experience inform both program design and delivery.

Responsibilities Program Implementation & Regional Launch (Alberta Employment Connect) - Lead the regional setup and implementation of Alberta Employment Connect, ensuring readiness across sites, teams, and systems.

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of Service Delivery Managers and front-line staff.
  • Establish service delivery processes, workflows, and performance expectations aligned with contractual requirements.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure operational infrastructure (systems, reporting, tools) is in place.
  • Identify and mitigate implementation risks, ensuring a smooth and timely program launch.
  • Support early-stage performance monitoring and stabilization post-launch.

Operational

Leadership & Service Delivery - Provide leadership and direction to Service Delivery Managers across both Work It Forward and Alberta Employment Connect.

  • Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery aligned with program objectives and service models.
  • Monitor performance across multiple sites and regions, addressing gaps and risks proactively.
  • Oversee intake, service flow, and participant progression to ensure timely and effective outcomes.
  • Drive standardization and consistency of service delivery practices. Team Leadership & Capacity Building - Lead, coach, and support Service Delivery Managers to drive accountability and results.
  • Foster a high-performing, inclusive, and psychologically safe team environment.
  • Support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Enable ongoing learning and development aligned with evolving program needs.
  • Build and promote a culture of continuous improvement across the region. Performance & Program Management - Establish and monitor key performance indicators (attachments, employment outcomes, retention/sustainment, service quality, participant satisfaction).
  • Analyze data across programs to identify trends, inform decisions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee implementation plans, timelines, and resource allocation across regions.
  • Lead regular performance reviews and operational check-ins with Service Delivery Managers. Stakeholder & Community Engagement - Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, community organizations, and referral partners.
  • Represent Work It Forward and Alberta Employment Connect in community networks and funder engagements.
  • Support development of employer partnerships that create sustainable employment opportunities. Quality & Compliance - Ensure alignment with funder requirements, contracts, privacy legislation, and internal policies.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives across both programs.
  • Monitor audits, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Support development of reports and updates for senior leadership and funders.

Qualifications Required - Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., Business, Social Services, Public Administration, Community Development).

  • Experience leading program implementation, launch, or scaling of new services.
  • Experience in a leadership role within employment services, workforce development, or community-based programs
