Cleaning Team Lead

We are looking for a motivated Team Lead to join our Kelowna team. In this role, you will work closely with management and cleaning staff to support daily operations, assist with training, and help ensure our high standards are consistently met. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a team environment.

Monday to Friday, shifts can range between 9 am to 5 pm, 11 am to 7 pm and 12 pm to 8 pm, finish and start times can be task dependent.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Train employees and closely work with them

· Cover cleaning shifts when needed

· Attend call outs

· Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures

· Retain knowledge of cleaning systems, chemicals and equipment

· Be able to attend various sites daily/ weekly

· Communicate deficiencies with employees and subcontractors

· Support the team to reach common goals and continue to grow the team

· Relevant machine experience considered an asset however, willing to be trained on basic floor machines.

· Physical aptitude to effectively move items up to 50 pounds without assistance.

· Perform other job duties as required /requested by Supervisor & Management.

· Light computer work will be required. Training provided.

Requirements

· Successful applicants will have to undergo the necessary background checks and high security clearances which are covered by the company

· Relevant janitorial experience is considered an asset however training is provided

· Must be available to work mornings, afternoons and evenings

· Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

· Great organization and possess a keen eye for detail

· Works well under pressure multi-tasking and able to prioritize

· Take initiative and assist when needed and exhibit teamwork skills

· Valid driver’s license with clean driver's abstract & a reliable vehicle
